Trey Williams

School: Texas A&M
Position: RB
Bio: Junior totals included 474 yards rushing and 6 TDs. Sophomore totals included 407 yards rushing. Experienced kick returner.
Positive: Undersized but quick and versatile ball carrier with possibilities as a third-down back. Runs with good lean, will pick and choose his spots and displays the ability to create yardage. Finds the cutback lanes, quickly gets through the open gaps and makes defenders miss. Easily changes direction without losing momentum, displays terrific vision and dangerous open field running skills. Sees the blitz, stays with blocking assignments and squares into defenders.
Negative: Displays limited strength in his game and easily brought down by the first defender or knocked off balance by the initial hit. Despite his 40 time plays like a one-speed ball carrier. Marginally productive catching the ball out of the backfield.
Analysis: Coming off the bench the past three seasons, Williams is an all-purpose back who must produce as a pass catcher out of the backfield to make it out of camp this summer.
