Terron Ward

School: Oregon State
Position: RB
Bio: Part-time starter the past two seasons who finished with 696 yards rushing and 10 TDs as a senior, both career-best totals. Junior numbers included 34 receptions, 280 receiving yards and 3 TDs.
Positive: Small but explosive skill player who creates yardage. Multi-cut runner, easily cuts back against the grain and loses little momentum changing direction. Runs low to the ground, works his carries and grinds it out on the inside. Patiently waits for blocks develop and gets lost behind blockers. Has a tremendous burst of quickness which he turns on in a single step. Sees the blitz, squares into defenders and gives effort blocking.
Negative: Not a natural receiver and all too often drops catchable throws. Won't be able to pick up much yardage off initial contact at the next level.
Analysis: Ward is a quick and creative skill player who can be used in situational roles at the next level.
