Michael Dyer

School: Louisville
Position: RB
Bio: Played in nine games last season totaling 481 yards and 5 TDs. Missed Louisville's bowl game after being declared academically ineligible. Led Auburn in rushing as a sophomore during the 2011 season amassing 1242 yards with 10 scores.
Positive: Gifted ball carrier with a versatile game. Displays tremendous quickness, has an elusive style and quickly finds the cutback lanes. Possesses the agility necessary to turn the corner, plays faster than his 40 time and uses an effective straight arm to keep plays alive. Runs with terrific vision, instincts and deceptively fast. Shows strength in his lower body, breaks tackles and falls forward for the extra yardage. Solid receiver out of the backfield. Sidesteps defenders to keep plays alive.
Negative: Dismissed from the Auburn program after a lightning fast start to his career. Play has been inconsistent the past two years. Not a back who will beat defenders into the open field.
Analysis: Dyer presents himself as a top 100 choice with the skills to be used as a rotational back at the next level. His inconsistency on the field and sometimes questionable decisions off it will push him into the late rounds and potentially out of the draft altogether. If Dyer is able to push away distractions and focus on football, he has the ability to make a roster as a team's second back.
