Marcus Coker

School: Stony Brook
Position: RB
Bio: Transfer from Iowa who posted career numbers of 1384 yards rushing and 15 TDs in 2011 as a sophomore with the Hawkeyes. Missed the 2013 season with a knee injury.
Positive: Hard-charging, downhill ballcarrier best on the inside. Runs with authority, displays power and keeps his feet moving on contact. Does not go down without a fight. Solid short yardage runner and falls forward when tackled.
Negative: Loses momentum changing direction. Not an elusive or creative runner with the ability to avoid piles or defenders. One-speed skill prospect.
Analysis: Early in his career Coker presented himself as a top running back prospect but has since struggled to regain form from the knee injury of 2013. At the top of his game he offers possibilities in a run-oriented offense who will use him on third-down or goal line situations.
