Joshua Quezada

School: Fresno State
Position: RB
Bio: Transfer from BYU who totaled 525 yards rushing and 5 TDs last season after a career-best 807 yards and 6 TDs the prior year.
Positive: Straight-line runner who's also an effective receiver out of the backfield. Strong, keeps his feet moving and picks up yardage off initial contact then falls forward when tackled. Runs hard on the inside, displays good vision and squeezes through the small openings of the defense. Possesses soft hands and natural catching the ball. Sees the blitz and stays with blocking assignments.
Negative: Loses momentum and balance changing direction. Lacks the speed necessary to turn the corner. Coming off a somewhat disappointing senior season.
Analysis: Quezada comes with limited upside but does the little things well. His ability to catch the ball out of the backfield or block inside the pocket gives him an outside opportunity to make a roster.
