Javorius Allen

School: USC
Position: RB
Bio: All-conference selection last season after posting career-best numbers of 1489 yards rushing and 11 TDs. Also added 41 receptions, 458 receiving yards and 1 more score. Sophomore totals included 817 yards rushing.
Positive: Big-bodied runner with upside. Agile, can turn the corner and displays a burst through the hole. Keeps his feet moving on contact and falls forward to pick up the extra yardage. Gets a lot of momentum going, quick to top speed and tough to bring down. Solid receiver out of the backfield. Displays good blocking strength and effectively picks up blitzes.
Negative: Runs with an upright style. Average vision and shows a lot of indecision. At times runs into tackles.
Analysis: Allen has flashed dominance and offers a terrific combination of size and speed. His vision and overall instincts are a concern but he's versatile enough carrying the ball or catching it out of the backfield and projects as a third running back on the depth chart.
