Braylon Heard

School: Kentucky
Position: RB
Bio: Nebraska transfer who played one season for Kentucky totaling 368 rushing yards and 4 TDs.
Positive: Small but shifty back with poor size/speed numbers. Quick footed, easily changes direction without losing momentum or bounces around piles. Squeezes through the small openings of the offensive line and displays a terrific burst. Gets lost behind blockers and runs hard whenever the balls in his hands.
Negative: Doesn't break tackles and easily brought down by a single opponent. Gives effort blocking but lacks functional football strength and run over by opponents. Solid but not spectacular receiver out of the backfield.
Analysis: Heard did a solid job as a role player for the Wildcats last season but was premature in his decision to leave the draft. He lacks the size to be an every-down back and is not a versatile enough to be situational runner at the next level.
