Braylon Mitchell

School: Arkansas
Position: OLB
Bio: Part-time starter the past two seasons posting a career-best 77 tackles as a junior.
Positive: Athletic linebacker prospect coming off a disappointing senior season. Quick moving in every direction of the field, easily alters his angle of attack and plays with a lot of quickness. Explosive, remains disciplined with assignments and effective in space. Flows well to the action and shows a terrific closing burst. Solid job diagnosing the action. Runs with tight ends or running backs in coverage and covers a lot of ground.
Negative: Undersized and engulfed at the point by a single blocker. Inconsistent at Arkansas and never truly established himself.
Analysis: From a size/speed perspective Mitchell looks like a next-level prospect built for the weakside. His inconsistency and disappointing senior season knocks him out of the draft's seven rounds though Mitchell could make a roster with a good camp this summer.
