Ronnie Hamlin

School: Eastern Washington
Position: ILB
Bio: Four-year starter awarded all America and all-conference honors throughout his college career. Senior totals included a team-leading 112 tackles as well as 6.5 tackles for loss. Junior numbers included a career-best 140 tackles after 136 the prior year.
Positive: Forceful small-school linebacker with average size/speed numbers. Remains disciplined with assignments, effectively diagnoses plays and works through the whistle. Tenacious, flows well laterally and takes good angles to the play. Works to get through blocks, sells out on the blitz and attacks runners.
Negative: Does not show great lateral speed or get depth on pass drops. Shows average skill in coverage. At times does too much knocking down rather than wrapping up and tackling.
Analysis: Hamlin was a productive linebacker the four years he started at Eastern Washington but is a one-dimensional run defender and lacks next level measurables.
