Shaquille Mason

School: Georgia Tech
Position: G
Bio: Three-year starter awarded All-conference honors the past two seasons and named to numerous All-America teams as a senior.
Positive: Short but explosive offensive lineman effective on the move. Fires off the snap into blocks, plays with good lean and quick out to the second level. Explosive at the point, keeps his feet moving on contact and plays with a lot of agility. Stays square turning defenders from the action and fluid pulling across the line of scrimmage. Keeps his hands active and his head on a swivel.
Negative: Lack of height limits him. Average strength and struggles finishing blocks. Does not possess an NFL build and has a thin lower body.
Analysis: Mason was consistent and reliable lineman at Georgia Tech, showing steady improvement the past three years. He comes with physical and size limitations but his movement skills could help him catch on as either a backup guard or center in a zone-blocking scheme.
