Quinton Spain

School: West Virginia
Position: G
Bio: Three-year starter who's lined up at both guard and left tackle. All-conference selection as a senior.
Positive: Wide-bodied blocker best in a small area. Sets with a wide base, bends his knees and knocks defenders from their angle of attack with violent hand punch. Stays square, works blocks and keeps his feet moving. Quick pulling across the line of scrimmage and fires out to the second level. Blocks with a nasty attitude and works to finish plays.
Negative: Rarely gets movement run blocking and despite his size, cannot finish off opponents. Does not consistently place his hands into defenders and does a lot of catching rather than blocking.
Analysis: Spain is a size prospect who's flashed ability the past three seasons but has yet to put together a consistent or complete game.
