Chad Hamilton

School: Coastal Carolina
Position: G
Bio: Three-year starter who's lined up at both left guard and left tackle. Awarded all conference honors since his sophomore season and named a consensus All-American in 2014.
Positive: Durable and versatile small school prospect with upside. Fires off the snap, explosive at the point and jolts opponents. Stays square, keeps his feet moving and patient in pass protection. Makes good use of angles and body positioning, displays solid overall awareness and is relatively agile. Quick out to the second level. Moves well on his feet and fundamentally sound.
Negative: More of a finesse blocker and lacks the strength to finish opponents. Average run blocker.
Analysis: Hamilton is a solid developmental prospect who can lineup at any of the three interior offensive blocking positions. He must improve his playing strength but is a solid developmental prospect with potential as an inexpensive backup and could eventually develop into a starter.
