Gabe Wright

School: Auburn
Position: DT
Bio: Two-year starter who totaled 24 tackles and 4.5 tackles for loss as a senior.
Positive: Explosive interior lineman who can line up as a conventional tackle or play the 3-technique spot. Fires off the ball, displays tremendous first-step quickness and gets a lot of momentum going up the field. Keeps his feet moving on contact, chases the action and effective pursuing plays outside the box. Moves well in every direction of the field, plays athletic football and nicely redirects to ball carriers.
Negative: Marginally productive in his starting role. Does not use his hands well and easily controlled at the point by a single blocker.
Analysis: Wright displays the physical skills necessary to line up at the next level and comes with upside potential but must really pull it together and start to produce if he wants a career in the NFL.
