Tray Walker

School: Texas Southern
Position: CB
Bio: Senior totals included 41 tackles, 4 INT's and 14 PBUs.
Positive: Fast-rising small-school cornerback with excellent size and upside. Explosive, fires to the ball out of his plant and plays with an aggressive attitude. Jams opponents at the line scrimmage, mixes it up throughout the route and shows suddenness in his game. Rarely challenged by opponents and fights to get up the field to defend the run and screen passes.
Negative: Slow transitioning to run with opponents off the line and late reacting to their moves. Gets high in his backpedal and slow in reverse. At times does more hitting rather than wrap-up tackling.
Analysis: An intriguing secondary prospect, Walker is a physical specimen who needs to fine tune his mechanics but offers potential in dime packages as a zone cornerback.
