Quinten Rollins

School: Miami-Oh
Position: CB
Bio: Former college basketball player named MAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2014. Finished the season with 72 tackles and 7 interceptions.
Positive: Quick, fluid defensive back with a large amount of upside potential. Engages receivers at the line, aggressive throughout the route and smooth moving to every area of the field. Sized well, very athletic and displays the ability to make acrobatic pass defenses or interceptions. Easily gets up high over opponents to defend throws. Fights hard and competes to defend the run. For the most part keeps the play in front of him and does a good job recognizing the action.
Negative: Inconsistent backpedaling and prefers to side shuffle down the field. Struggles getting off blocks. Must polish his instincts.
Analysis: After a college career on the hardwood, Rollins decided to give football a chance last season and ended with astonishing results. Though there may be some bumps in the road, he possesses the tools necessary to develop into a starting cornerback at the next level.
