Julian Wilson

School: Oklahoma
Position: CB
Bio: Full-time starter the past two seasons who totaled 39 tackles as a senior. Posted a career-best 3 interceptions the prior season. Academic Big 12 selection throughout his college career.
Positive: Underrated defensive back with good size. Uses his size and strength as an advantage, mixes it up with opponents and physically beats down receivers to defend the throw. Keeps the action in front of him, plays with awareness and a solid open field tackler. Quickly locates passes in the air and has a nice move to the ball.
Negative: Struggles staying with receivers out of breaks. Will be a liability in downfield coverage.
Analysis: Wilson was minimally productive on the college level but comes with the size and ball skills necessary to line up in dime packages and he should be a solid special-teams player at the next level.
