Jacoby Glenn

School: Central Florida
Position: CB
Bio: Two-year starter named to several All-America teams last season and voted American Athletic Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Year after totaling 40 tackles, 7 INTs and 10 PBUs. Freshman totals included 52/2/15.
Positive: Big and productive cornerback best facing the action. Engages receivers at the line of scrimmage, athletic and gets high to defend the pass or intercept throws. Effectively tracks the ball in the air and shows good hands for interceptions. Plays with balance, body control and slides off blocks to make tackles in the open field. Displays good route recognition in zone coverage and physically beats down opponents to defend throws. Times his pass defenses well.
Negative: Struggles making plays with his back to the ball. Average long speed and will be a liability in deep coverage.
Analysis: Glenn had two very productive seasons for Central Florida then decided to bolt for the NFL. He possesses the size and underlying ball skills but will only fit specific schemes due to his poor speed.
