Ian Williams

School: Fordham
Position: CB
Bio: Four-year starter awarded all-conference honors as a senior after totals of 75 tackles, 4 INTs and 19 PBUs. Junior numbers included 86/5/11.
Positive: Aggressive cornerback with a good head for the ball. Displays a sense of timing, stays with the action and has a burst to the ball. Effective facing the action, shows good recognition and stays with assignments. Works hard to break up throws or defend the run. Outstanding return specialist.
Negative: Slow backpedaling. Gives up a lot of underneath receptions. Does not consistently position himself properly against opponents.
Analysis: Williams had a knack for breaking up passes as well as impacting games returning kicks. He's a long shot but could make a roster as a ninth defensive back/return specialist.
