Cam Thomas

School: Western Kentucky
Position: CB
Bio: Three-year starter who posted 45 tackles, 2 INTs and 5 PBUs as a senior. Junior totals included 41/5/10, when he was an all-conference player.
Positive: Instinctive and aggressive cornerback best facing the action. Displays good awareness, timing, and anticipation. Fluid backpedaling, stays on the receivers hip out of breaks and quickly locates the pass in the air. Displays a burst of closing speed, works hard to defend throws and also voluntarily stuffs the run. Quick up the field and wraps up when tackling.
Negative: Gives a big cushion, and as a result a lot of underneath receptions. Lacks long speed and can be a liability in downfield coverage.
Analysis: Thomas is one of the more underrated cornerbacks in this year's draft and possesses the measurables as well as ball skills to line up as a dime back in zone coverage.
