Taylor Gabriel

School: Abilene Christian
Position: WR
Positive: Three-year starter who's been ultra productive as both a receiver and punt returner. Quick off the snap, comes back to the ball out of breaks, and works hard to make himself an available target. Displays good eye-hand coordination, gets vrtical, and exposes himself to big hits. Quickly transitions to running after the catch, keeps the play in bounds, and shows the ability to pick up yardage when the balls in his hands. Lethal punt returner with the ability to make multiple defenders miss in the open field and break long returns.
Negative: Undersized, loses out in battles and easily taken down at the point by a single defender. More quick than fast and not a true deep threat.
Analysis: Gabriel has size limitations but was very productive on the small-school level and showed steady improvement. His return skills are key and could help Gabriel secure a roster spot as a slot receiver or return specialist.
