Ryan Grant

School: Tulane
Position: WR
Positive: Three-year starter who posted a career-best 77 receptions as a senior along with 1039 yards and 9 TDs. Junior totals included 76 receptions, 1149 yards, and 6 TDs. Consistent college receiver with marginal size and speed for the next level. Displays great awareness, consistently finds the open spot in the defense then extends his hands to make catches away from his frame. Fluid off the line, quickly gets into routes, and comes back to the ball on exit. Uses his frame to shield away defenders, takes a pounding and holds onto the throw. Possesses soft, natural hands and terrific eye-hand coordination. Effortlessly makes the deep, over-the-shoulder reception. Shows good focus.
Negative: One-speed receiver and lacks a burst. Comes with just average size for possession receiver.
Analysis: Grant was terrific on the college level the past two seasons and though he does not stack up athletically for the NFL, he possesses enough ability to make a roster as a fourth receiver.
