Robert Herron

School: Wyoming
Position: WR
Positive: Three-year starter who posted a career-best 72 receptions, 937 yards, and 9 TDs last year. Legitimate home-run-hitting receiver with an inconsistent game. Quick releasing off the line, immediately gets to top speed, and possesses a second gear that enables him to run away from opponents. Plays with quickness, comes back to the ball out of breaks, and extends to make catches away from his frame. Competes, battles, and keeps the play in bounds running after the catch. Makes the difficult reception in a crowd, exposes himself to big hits, and displays good eye-hand coordination. Can score from any point on the field.
Negative: Loses out in battles. Lack of size limits him. Struggled during Senior Bowl week.
Analysis: Herron is an explosive receiver who stretches the field vertically, but at the same time displays himself to be a dependable underneath. He offers ability lining up in the slot or out on the flanks and should produce as a third/fourth wideout in the NFL.
