Robert Armstrong

School: Texas A&M Kingsville
Position: WR
Positive: Four-year starter who finished with 66 receptions, 761 yards, and 8 TDs last season. Productive small-school receiver with nice size and reliable hands. Gets up high, competes to make receptions, and consistently extends to catch the ball away from his frame. Comes back to the ball out of breaks, shields away defenders, and exposes himself to big hits. Looks the ball into his hands. Strong running after the catch and keeps the play in bounds, breaking tackles to pick up as much yardage as possible.
Negative: Lacks balance and coordination. Does not display naturally soft hands. Has a loping style with a marginal burst.
Analysis: Armstrong was consistently productive on the small-school level but will have to improve his route running and consistency to play at the next level.
