Josh Stewart

School: Oklahoma State
Position: WR
Positive: Two-year starter who has lead Oklahoma State in receptions since his sophomore season. Junior totals included 60 receptions, 703 yards, and 3 TDs when he also averaged 16.7 yards on 22 punt returns, bringing two back for scores. Sophomore numbers of 2012 included 101 receptions and 1210 yards. Game-breaking skill player who constantly picks up positive yardage handling the ball. Plays with balance, body control, and quickness. Turns it on in a single step, separates from defenders, and consistently finds a way to come free. Displays terrific eye-hand coordination, shows good recognition, and for the most part catches the ball with his hands. Makes the difficult receptions with defenders draped on him and him as well as some incredible one-handed grabs. Adjusts to errant throws, snatches the ball from the air, and displays solid run after the catch skill. Elusive, creates yardage, and breaks games open with long returns.
Negative: Loses his focus on occasion and drops easy throws. Lacks the second gear and timed poorly at the combine.
Analysis: After nondescript freshman season, Stewart elevated his game past two years then decided to enter the draft. He lacks classic size-speed numbers but has enough ability to make an NFL roster as a slot receiver/return specialist.
