Jeremy Johnson

School: SMU
Position: WR
Positive: Two-year starter who's game took off this season. Senior totals included a team-high 112 receptions and 1112 yards. Slightly built receiver effective running after the catch. Displays soft hands, easily makes receptions in stride, and adjusts to errant throws. Displays good eye-hand coordination, quick, and keeps the play in bounds after the catch. Somewhat elusive, makes defenders miss in the open field, and picks up positive yardage after the catch.
Negative: More of an underneath receiver and does not possess the speed necessary to stretch the field. Struggles in battles and will have difficulty handling jams at the next level.
Analysis: Johnson was consistent and productive for Southern Methodist and would do well as an underneath receiver in a West Coast offense. He would enhance his chances of making a roster if he shows ability as a return specialist this summer.
