Je'Ron Hamm

School: Louisiana-Monroe
Position: WR
Positive: Two-year starter coming off a disappointing season. Caught just 25 passes for 271 yards as a senior after junior totals of 62 catches, 915 yards, and 6 TDs. King-sized possession receiver who will get consideration at H-back in the NFL. Comes across the middle the field, offers the quarterback a target, and extends his hands to make catches in stride. Sturdy receiver who uses his frame to shield away defenders. Takes a big hit then holds onto the throw. Looks the ball into his hands. Nicely contorts in midair and pulls the pass from the air.
Negative: Not a consistent hand catcher and unnecessarily lets the ball get inside him. One-speed receiver and not a vertical threat.
Analysis: Hamm was stamped as a potential late-round pick coming into the season but the results from his senior campaign will knock him out of the seven rounds. He's a well-built runner with better than average pass-catching skills who must get his game back on track to have a chance of sticking at the next level.
