Isaiah Burse

School: Fresno State
Position: WR
Positive: Two-year starter who posted career-best numbers of 99 receptions, 1026 yards, and 6 TDs last season after 57 receptions, 851 yards, and 6 TDs the prior year. Experienced return specialist. Slightly undersized but explosive pass catcher best on underneath routes. Shows quickness, comes back into the clearing to make himself an available target, and consistently catches the ball with his hands. Lays out for difficult catches, looks the pass into his hands, and nicely adjusts to errant throws. Works to pick up yardage running after the catch.
Negative: Lacks strong hands and the ability to pull a fastball from the air. Takes his eyes off the ball and drops catchable throws on occasion.
Analysis: Burse was a productive receiver/return specialist at Fresno State and has the skills necessary to line up as a fifth receiver in a timing offense.
