Erik Lora

School: Eastern Illinois
Position: WR
Positive: Three-year starter who set multiple school, conference, and collegiate records. Two time all-American. Small but reliable receiver with tremendous focus and concentration. Quickly releases off the line into pass routes, comes back to the ball out of breaks or finds the open seam in defense. Makes the difficult catch with opponents draped on him, possesses outstanding eye-hand coordination as well as a sense of timing. Goes over the middle of the field to make the difficult catch and exposes himself to big hits in order to come away with the ball. Quickly transitions to running after the catch.
Negative: Overmatched by bigger cornerbacks. More quick than fast and not a vertical threat.
Analysis: Lora was consistent and very productive on the college field but comes with average measurables. In the end he's a terrific football player who should find a home as a slot receiver.
