Brandon Wimberly

School: Nevada
Position: WR
Positive: Four-year starter who finished with a career-best 70 receptions, 845 yards, and 4 TDs last year. Big, strong possession receiver with limited speed. Fluid athlete. Nicely adjusts to errant throws and extends to make catches away from his frame. Stout at the point, keeps the play in bounds, and competes to make catches. Plays like a big-bodied receiver, outmuscling opponents to come away with the ball. Gets up in a crowd and takes a pounding but holds onto the throw.
Negative: Limited quickness and speed. Poor route runner, floats and not sharp exiting breaks.
Analysis: Wimberly was a solid college receiver who's limited by a lack of speed. He could get consideration in a West Coast offense as a third-down/red zone target.
