C.J. Fiedorowicz

School: Iowa
Position: TE
Positive: Full-time starter the past two seasons, posting 45 receptions and 433 receiving yards as a junior. Large, powerful tight end who dominates defenders as a blocker. Bends his knees, stays square, and plays with leverage. Explosive at the point of attack, knocks defenders off the ball, and blocks with a nasty attitude. Controls opponents once engaged at the point, even handling opposing defensive ends. Attacks assignments and plays with a nasty attitude. Easily moves about the field and lays out and makes the difficult receptions. Gets vertical over defenders and makes a lot of athletic plays. Possesses terrific eye-hand coordination and a solid intermediate threat.
Negative: Does not show soft or natural hands. One-speed tight end and won't break into the secondary.
Analysis: Fiedorowicz was a terrific tight end for Iowa and in many ways looks more like an offensive lineman. He's an outstanding blocker and a solid intermediate pass catching threat who should do well as a number two tight end in the NFL.
