Michael Schofield

School: Michigan
Position: T
Positive: Full-time starter at right tackle the past two seasons after lining up at left guard as a sophomore. College tackle who can play several offensive line spots in the NFL. Strong, stays square, and controls opponents once engaged at the point of attack. Effective with his hands, quickly gets them up into opponents and correctly places them. Explosive at the point, gets movement run blocking, and plays with a nasty attitude. Keeps his head on a swivel and always looking for someone to hit.
Negative: Lacks agility and struggles finishing blocks. Cannot quickly slide off the edge.
Analysis: Schofield is a large blocker and gets the most from his ability. He will only fit certain blocking schemes but if properly used offers starting potential at the next level.
