Kaycee Ike

School: Alabama-Birmingham
Position: T
Positive: Two-year starter at Alabama Birmingham. Nice-sized offensive tackle prospect who flashes skill as a run blocker and in pass protection. Explodes off the snap, keeps his head on a swivel, and keeps his feet moving throughout the play. Strong at the point, controls defenders, and turns them from their angle of attack. Better than average footwork sliding out off the edge. Recognizes stunts or blitzes and works well with teammates. Quick and effective with his hands.
Negative: Does not bend his knees or consistently block with leverage. Ducks his head and overextends into blocks.
Analysis: Ike showed flashes of skill but is rough around the edges and does not play fundamentally sound ball. He offers size as well as growth potential and offers possibilities as a backup tackle or guard at the next level.
