Darren Deneui

School: North Dakota
Position: T
Positive: Three-year starter who lined up at both left and right tackle. Large but athletically limited small-school blocker with minimal upside. Strong, stays square, and explosive at the point of attack. Blocks with good leverage, keeps his head on a swivel, and shows good awareness. Effectively gets his hands into opponents and jolts them with terrific punch, knocking them from the action.
Negative: Lacks the footwork necessary to slide out off the edge. At times does too much leaning and clutching on defenders. Struggles to adjust and exploited by quick or athletic opponents.
Analysis: Deneui was a productive and versatile lineman at North Dakota but has limited upside for the next level. Size will get him into a camp this summer at either right tackle or guard.
