Kendrick Rhodes

School: West Alabama
Position: RB
Positive: Productive collegiate runner who began his career at Florida International. Physically gifted running back prospect who does not do the little things well. Shows power in his lower body, has the ability to break the first tackle then pick up yardage off initial contact. Keeps his feet moving, follows blocks, and rarely brought down by the first defender. Effective receiver out of the backfield and catches the pass with his hands.
Negative: Not a creative or elusive runner. At times does too much lateral running rather than taking it up the field. Must pick up the intensity blocking. Lacks a quick change of direction, runs a bit upright and loses momentum trying to cut back into the open field.
Analysis: Rhodes was productive during his time at Florida International but his game and draft grade slipped last season. He has the makings of a rotational runner in the NFL if he gets his act together.
