Jordan Lynch

School: Northern Illinois
Position: QB
Positive: Two year starter. Highly decorated college quarterback who does not project well at the next level. Tough, intelligent, and displays good field awareness. Knows where his receivers are, uses all his targets, and for the most part makes good decisions. Patient, does not leave the pocket early, and displays good timing on throws. Shows vision carrying the ball, runs hard on the inside, and works to pick up as much yardage as possible.
Negative: Does not throw with a consistent point of release, which results in passes being sprayed about the field. Loses a lot throwing in motion. Struggled all week during Shrine Game practices.
Analysis: Lynch was a terrific college quarterback but his accuracy and mechanics are a major issue. He may have a home as a ball carrier or tight end but in the end will struggle to make an NFL roster.
