Cody Green

School: Tulsa
Position: QB
Positive: Nebraska transfer who's started the past two seasons. Senior totals included 1339 passing yards, 7 TDs, and 8 INTs. Junior numbers included 2592 passing yards with 17 TDs. Athletic quarterback with a powerful arm coming off a disappointing senior season. Quickly sets up in the pocket, slides to the outside to buy time, and avoids defenders to give himself a better view of the field. Loses nothing throwing on the run, and easily zips the throw to intended targets. Gets the ball downfield with a flick of his wrist, powerful when he runs with the ball, and plays an athletic game.
Negative: Struggled as a senior, displayed poor field vision, and all too often put the ball up for grabs. Does not make proper decisions under the rush and misses wide-open targets. Makes receivers work hard to catch the ball.
Analysis: Green showed flashes of ability as a junior but comes off a severely disappointing senior campaign and grades as a project in the works. Size and arm strength make Green worth stashing on a practice squad.
