Colton Underwood

School: Illinois State
Position: OLB
Positive: Three-year starter awarded all-America honors throughout his college career. Undersized college defensive end who projects to outside linebacker in the NFL. Quick off the snap, effectively uses his hands, and shows a good change of direction. Plays with good lean, easily moves about the field, and shows the necessary lateral speed to chase the action in pursuit. Can bend off the edge, instinctive, and quickly locates the ball. Moves well in space and plays with an aggressive attitude.
Negative: Undersized, easily tied up by blocks, and disrupted by the initial hit.
Analysis: Underwood was an intense, productive collegiate defensive end who was terrific making plays up the field. He possesses the ability to be used as a 3-4 outside linebacker but must show playmaking skill in reverse as well as up the field.
