Adrian Hubbard

School: Alabama
Position: OLB
Positive: Two-year starter who finished with 33 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and 3 sacks last season. Sophomore totals included 39 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and 6 sacks. Athletic, 3-4 linebacker prospect with size and growth potential. Fluid moving about the field, displays a good change of direction, and fast making plays to every area. Makes good use of his hands, breaks down well, and sheds blocks to get to the action. Plays with balance and body control, effective in pursuit while also showing skill as a pass rusher. Gets depth on pass drops and covers a lot of area. Has a burst to the action and fast up the field on the blitz.
Negative: Not an overly physical linebacker and occasionally shies away from contact. Has a tall, thin build and lacks functional football strength.
Analysis: Hubbard looks like a basketball player on the football field, easily moving about the turf to make plays in every direction. He's rough around the edges but comes with upside potential and could end up great value this May.
