Chase Garnham

School: Vanderbilt
Position: ILB
Positive: Played in six games last season, missing the middle of the year with a leg injury. Finished with 24 tackles. Started 13 games the prior year and finished with 84 tackles, as well as 12.5 tackles for loss. Hard-charging linebacker with poor size/speed numbers. Instinctive, shows a good head for the ball, and plays with a nasty attitude. Does not bite on play-action passes, gets depth on pass drops, and flows well laterally. Takes good angles to the action and wraps up tackling.
Negative: Gets eaten up in the trash and easily blocked from the action. Lacks great lateral speed. Has a long injury history.
Analysis: On film, Garnham looks like a potential run-defending inside linebacker in a 3-4 alignment but multiple injury issues could keep him out of camp this summer.
