Ronald Patrick

School: South Carolina
Position: G
Positive: Two-year starter at right guard. Hard-working blocker with limited upside. Blocks with good lean, quickly gets his hands into opponents, and extends them to keep defenders away. Keeps his feet moving, keeps his head on a swivel, and attacks assignments. Fluid if asked to pull across the line of scrimmage. Sets with a wide base, works to bend his knees, and plays through the whistle.
Negative: Falls off blocks and must improve his balance. Lacks footwork in space and struggles getting to the point to pick up the blitz. Rarely finishes blocks.
Analysis: Patrick is a hard-working lineman but lacks next level athleticism and must quickly elevate his game to have a chance to make it out of camp this summer.
