Kelvin Palmer

School: Baylor
Position: G
Positive: Moved into the starting role as a senior, lining up at both left and right tackle. Fundamentally sound college tackle who projects to guard in the NFL. Blocks with excellent knee bend, forward lean, and gets leverage on opponents. Keeps his feet and hands active throughout the play, stays square, and flexible. Moves well on his feet, nicely adjusts to defenders and shows ability blocking in motion.
Negative: Possesses average size and strength at the point of attack. Struggles finishing blocks.
Analysis: Palmer did well as a first year starter in Baylor's explosive offense and projects as a developmental zone-blocking guard in the NFL.
