Evan Finkenberg

School: Arizona State
Position: G
Positive: Four-year starter awarded all-conference honors as a senior. College left tackle who projects to guard at the next level. Smart player. Displays excellent vision but at the same time plays tough football. Plays with quickness, blocks with good lean, and keeps his feet moving. Stays square and out positions defenders at the point of attack. Uses his hands well and plays through the whistle.
Negative: Possesses average run-blocking strength and does not finish plays. Marginal skill blocking in motion. Limited athlete.
Analysis: Finkenberg was an undersized college left tackle who got the most from his ability and played intelligent football. He comes with limited upside but his approach to the game and understanding of his position could make him an invaluable backup at any of the three interior blocking positions.
