Andrew Norwell

School: Ohio State
Position: G
Positive: Three-year starter at both left tackle and left guard. Underrated blocker with terrific size. Strong at the point and plays with a nasty attitude. A solid position blocker who seals defenders from the action. Anchors in pass protection, turns defenders from the action, and creates lanes for runners. Shows power and easily overwhelms opponents once engaged at the point of attack.
Negative: Lacks footwork and cannot slide out off the edge. Gets tall as the play proceeds. Not light on his feet or effective blocking in motion.
Analysis: In many ways Norwell is the forgotten man on the Buckeyes' talented offensive line but possesses the size and strength to play at the next level. His lack of agility limits him to certain systems but if used properly Norwell could be a factor at the next level.
