Daniel McCullers

School: Tennessee
Position: DT
Positive: Two-year starter who finished with 33 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and a half sack last season. King-sized interior defensive line prospect who dominates the action when focused on the task at hand. Powerful in his lower body. Can be an overwhelming force and easily drives blockers off the line, collapsing double and sometimes triple team blocks. Impossible to move off the point. Shows the ability to easily discard opponents and get to the runner. Moves relatively well, has long arms, and effectively works them throughout the action.
Negative: Marginally productive the past two seasons. Late and lazy with his hands. Does not show great intensity or play with a killer instinct. All too easily washed from the action by a single blocker.
Analysis: McCullers looks the part and occasionally plays to it but was not a consistent force in 2013 as scouts predicted. He possesses the physical skills to be a dominant interior tackle/nose tackle but must turn up the intensity and consistently play with proper fundamentals.
