Caraun Reid

School: Princeton
Position: DT
Positive: Highly decorated collegian with potential at several defensive line positions. Quick off the snap, built low to the ground, and gets leverage on opponents. Keeps his feet moving on contact and displays the ability to break through double-team blocks. Powerful, bull rushes opponents off the line, and quickly locates the ball. Rarely knocked off his feet, easily changes direction, and make plays down the line of scrimmage or outside the box. Effectively uses his hands to protect himself and plays with suddenness.
Negative: Average pursuit speed laterally. Lacks natural bulk and engulfed at the point of attack. Commitment and passion to football has been questioned.
Analysis: Reid was an overwhelming force in the Ivy League and has the skill set which enables him to line-up in both three- and four- man fronts at the next level. He needs to keep the intensity going for 60 minutes and devote himself to football if he's to reach the level of expectations placed upon him.
