Beau Allen

School: Wisconsin
Position: DT
Positive: Two-year starter who posted 37 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks as a junior in 2012. Underrated defensive line prospect who could be used at tackle or on the nose. Fires off the snap with a terrific first step, commands double-team blocks, and is impossible to move from his point of attack. Plays with great intensity and fights throughout the action. Displays a solid change of direction with the ability to chase down the line of scrimmage and make plays outside the box. Keeps his feet moving on contact and creates opportunities for teammates.
Negative: Average pass rusher. Must improve his hand use. Marginally productive at Wisconsin.
Analysis: Allen offers the size, intensity, and general skills to make any team at the next level. Surprisingly mobile, he could line up in a variety of schemes.
