Kerry Wynn

School: Richmond
Position: DE
Positive: Three-year starter at defensive end who will get consideration as a 3-4 outside linebacker in the NFL. Explosive, quick off the snap, and moves well in every direction. Works his hands throughout the play, gets leverage on opponents, and easily changes direction. Jolts lineman with terrific hand punch and displays an array of moves getting off blocks. Athletic, quickly closes to the ball, and shows ability in pursuit as well as rushing the passer.
Negative: Struggles disengaging from blocks. Overwhelmed at defensive end during Shrine Game practices.
Analysis: Wynn is a nice sized athlete and natural pass rusher who consistently makes plays behind the line of scrimmage. He offers possibilities standing up over tackle at the next level as a nickel pass rusher.
