T.J. Lee III

School: Eastern Washington
Position: CB
Positive: Three-year starter awarded all-America honors the past two years. Small, feisty cornerback with solid ball skills. Aggressive, instinctive and plays with suddenness. Fluid and quick backpedaling and shows skill in man coverage. Has the ability to read receivers eyes then get his head back around and position himself to defend the throw. Possesses a good burst to the action, better than average ball skills and a tough run defender. Wraps up tackling and fights to make plays. Lined up at both safety and cornerback as a senior.
Negative: Inefficient, does not always take proper angles to the action, and guesses wrong on occasion. Undersized and will be overmatched by opponents.
Analysis: Lee was a consistent secondary presence for Eastern Washington and makes up for his lack of size with tough, smart play. He's a dime back at the next level and someone who must play well on special teams to earn a roster spot.
