Dexter Monroe

School: Harvard
Position: CB
Positive: Underrated cornerback who's been very productive. Displays outstanding instincts, awareness and constantly around the ball making plays. Works well with safeties, quickly locates the pass in the air, and displays a nice break to the throw as well as a sense of timing. Remains disciplined, stays with assignments, and very aggressive in run defense. Displays closing speed laterally and in a straight line. Throws his body around trying to stop opponents.
Negative: Not a big-bodied defensive back and struggles handling larger opponents. Average speed and struggles staying downfield with vertical receivers.
Analysis: Monroe was a consistent force in the Ivy league and a cornerback who displayed toughness defending the run as well as ball skills in coverage. He lacks great upside but could easily find a spot in the NFL as a dime back/special teams player.
