Weston Richburg

School: Colorado State
Position: C
Positive: Four-year starter awarded all-conference honors the past three years. Primarily lined up at center, but also saw action at left tackle and guard. Tough, efficient offensive line prospect who plays with terrific fundamentals and intelligence. Sets with a wide base, bends his knees, and consistently gets leverage on opponents. Keeps his feet and hands active throughout the play, stays square, and fights through the whistle. Does not make mental mistakes or have breakdowns. Anchors in pass protection or seals the running lanes open with good body positioning. Can slide in space or redirect to hit linebackers blocking in motion. Effectively quarterbacks the offensive line and shows great awareness.
Negative: Lacks bulk and power in the middle of the line. Average athlete who may struggle blocking in motion at the next level.
Analysis: Richburg if a fundamentally sound lineman with the smarts and intangibles to eventually develop into a starter at the next level.
